st. patrick's day block party 2012

this year turned out to be by far the biggest st. patrick's day block party to date.  more beer, food and people than ever before (all of our parties from the past are right here).  my dad and pete built yet another new pub in our driveway (it is still there as we speak), there was live music throughout the day (everybody's favorite, vinyl station played at night), the annual cornhole tournament was a success (pete and pet won), there were three bounce houses for the kids this year, "somebody" brought his own tent to sleep in for the night in our backyard and our party was even tweeted about.  funny stuff.  once again, i took a few pictures at the very beginning and then a handful at the very end (after i woke up from my "nap" at 11:00 and people were still going strong), so there are none of the real crowd and madness of the middle of the party, but here is what we have...

and if you didn't make it this year, we hope to see you next!  living out of town is no excuse.

and we got a lovely rainy day the next day to take away the smell of cigarettes and beer and all that yucky-ness.  it made it feel like a real irish day with a rainbow and all...

First, our first pictures on both of our blog posts are eerily similar. Also, Jimmy and Finn on the bouncy house is really cute, but not as cute as Dad and Pete behind the bar laughing at each other. I also want to frame the one of Danny and I. Last, who is the tweet guy?

I wish I had been there, and was very sad to miss it. I really want a copy of that picture of Mary and Danny. That is a great photo.
