winter in phoenix

its a funny thing.  for example, bare-feet and diapers are not out of the question.  neither is wearing your uncle danny's swim suit with your sister around the house for laughs...

finn keeps asking when it is going to snow.  he has big plans to make snowmen.  the other morning while driving to school, it had been a particularly cold night and many of the roofs still had frost on them, as well as several people's front yards, to the point they actually looked white.  all three of my kids were ecstatic the entire ride pointing out this window and that yelling, "look at that one!  it snowed over there, too!"  finn couldn't stop repeating to himself, "it finally snowed..."  poor kid.  i guess we should take him to see real snow one of these weekends...
i can't really complain, though.  its nice and chilly and we can wear sweaters and scarves on occasion, but we can also have a fire on our front patio in jammies (with sweatshirts and slippers) and be fine.  so, here's a little glimpse of a wintery phoenix night...

jack asked to take a picture...

so, then lucy wanted to also...

so, then back to jack because its so important to be the last one to get to take a picture...

the end.
