a piano recital and a few little crafts

jack had his second piano recital this december and has greatly improved since last year.  for a full replay of his concert go here (just kidding... did you really think we recorded him playing the piano?  and then posted it to the web?  well, we didn't.)  i hope he always loves the piano as much as he does now.  there is something so wonderful about piano music filling the house, especially at christmas time (does it bother anyone, when, on occasion, that cheesy side of me comes out?)

in addition to wonderful music, this christmas season has also been filled with many little christmas crafts.  what started with everyone stringing cranberries (that lasted about 5 minutes), turned into a record  breaking hour and a half of mr. finn doing it all on his own.  he was ever so careful and deliberate about it.  he was so proud to hang them on the tree when he had finished off every single cranberry in the bowl.

and, of course, our sweet mimi stopped by with some fun little crafts for the kids which lucy has been spending every spare minute working on since...

lucy enjoys being a little more creative with her crafting supplies...

jack and i also made snowflakes, which jack taped all over our front windows...

and one of my favorite christmas crafts that no one else seemed to be all that excited about, but i really enjoyed how it turned out...
