some fun crafty sites to check out...

so, this is mainly for christine, since we were talking about it, but anyone who might enjoy checking these out, i recommend them for crafty inspiration...

www.weewonderfuls.com - this site always has free downloads for cute little paper dolls, embroidery patterns, wooden spoon puppets, etc. as well as much more advanced sewing patterns and knitting projects. you can also buy patterns for the dolls. if anyone would like to tackle making one of the dolls with me, i would be very open to a craft night...

www.thesmallobject.com - this site has cute little products like stamps, notecards etc. and if you go to her stenopad link, she has a blog that always has fun craft ideas. i made her washer necklace and i have to say it was mighty fun. also, her little wooden peg people are too cute... another project for craft night?

www.pinkchalkfabrics.com (bev, you may go nuts on this site... their fabric selection is awesome). this site has unbelievable fabrics that i want to sit on my shelf and just stare at. they also sell tools and have free downloads, etc.

www.threepotatofour.com (another note to bev, they have amazing, although rather pricey, vintage typewriters). this site has a ;store that sells all sorts of "found" objects - basically this person is great at flea market shopping - thus, it is all one-of-kind and when it is gone, its gone. a little on the pricey side, but i just enjoy looking at all the cute little vintage items she finds. her blog always has useful and interesting craft ideas.

hope at least someone finds some enjoyment from these links. and i am hoping to get a flood of calls to sign up for "craft night" (or "dork night")...
